TOYS FOR TURTLES

Toys for Turtles is an outreach initiative, aiming to reduce plastic pollution on beaches. Based in North East Arnhem Land, the project connects students with tools to recycle plastic recovered from the coastline into new items that can be used in the community.

Turtles are iconic animals in the region that are under threat from many pressures, including plastic pollution.
